Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Refresca is for everyone, and that includes our website. We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the site over time.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML: the site uses meaningful headings, landmarks, and structure so assistive technologies can understand the page.
- Keyboard navigation: you can reach and use links, the waitlist form, and other controls with a keyboard, without needing a mouse.
- Alternative text: meaningful images include text descriptions, and decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them.
- Color contrast: we chose our palette so that text has sufficient contrast against its background.
- Visible focus states: interactive elements show a clear focus outline so you always know where you are on the page.
- Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, we honor that and turn off non-essential animation.
Known limitations
We are honest about the fact that no site is perfect. A few things to note:
- This is an early, pre-launch site, and some pages or features may not yet be fully tested with every assistive technology.
- We use Google Fonts and a third-party hosting provider, and we do not control every aspect of how those services behave.
- If you find something that does not work for you, we want to know so we can fix it.
